This time we decided to take a bike trip to Třístoličník on a new route, through terrain that is quite challenging in Šumava... At first it was easy, we rode from Nová Peca against the Vltava river along the Vltava cycle path through Stožec to Nové Údolí. We crossed into Bavaria and the climb to Haidmühle began. Here we topped up the water at the well above the village and continued through the forest to the lake...
