Bridge in Roudnice nad Labem.
As the very first bridge across the Elbe, a stone bridge in Roudnice nad Labem was built between 1333 and 1340. It thus became the third oldest bridge in Bohemia. Bishop Jan of Dražice was responsible for his position. The bridge was damaged after the Battle of White Mountain and completely destroyed during the Thirty Years' War. Instead of a bridge, there was a ferry for a long time. In the years 1906 – 1910, a new one was built on the site of the medieval stone bridge…
