Miřejovice (Nelahozeves) – weir bridge, lock and power plant (waterworks)
Reviews
The Miřejovice waterworks is a very interesting technical monument, which consists not only of a weir bridge, a navigation channel with chambers and a lock, but also of a hydroelectric power plant. It was built gradually in two construction stages, between 1900 and 1904 and 1928 and 1930. This building can be found on the lower section of the Vltava River, between the villages of Veltrusy and Miřejovice.
