The town of Trnávka - the church of St. James the Elder

 
Old Trnávka once stood in the center of today's settlement, another called Nová Trnávka was added here at the beginning of the 14th century and both became part of the estate of Cimburka Castle, whose lord was Ctibor from Trnávka. The villages were united in 1918, and 11 years later the village was renamed Měštečko Trnávka.
