The romantic ruins of a stone Gothic castle on an elongated peak above Trnávka Town are also called Starý Cimburk or Trnávka. The castle was founded sometime at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries by Ctibor from Lipnice. Thanks to this, it got its name, because the coat of arms of the lords of Lipnice had a battlement. The castle is then acquired by his son Bernard, already written from Cimburk. He is demonstrably the owner of the castle already in 1308.…
