Marian Column in Kácov

In the town of Kácov in Posázav, on the square, not far from the castle, we can find one of the most richly decorated plague (Marian) columns in the Czech Republic. The column is made of sandstone.
The column was built by Anna Marie of Tuscany and was created in 1729. It was not consecrated for 20 years after its creation. The base and body of the pyramid are decorated with statues of 14 helpers (St. George, Christopher, Blaise, Diviš, Ahacius, Cyriak, Erasmus, Eustace, Pantaleon...
