Mahen's monument, Brno
The memorial to the poet, journalist, editor of Lidové noviny, librarian, dramaturg, director and theater critic Jiří Mahen (real name Antonín Vančura, 1882-1939) was established in 1992 from the legacy of the artist's widow, Mrs. Karla Mahenová.
The monument is located directly in the house where the poet lived until his death, in the Masaryk district, at Mahenova Street No. 8.
