Lužec nad Cidlinou - Church of St. George

Lužec nad Cidlinou - a long medieval village with many preserved timber and brick houses from the 18th and 19th centuries. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1325, when it was owned by Vladyka Slavibor from Lužka. The dominant feature of the village is the church of St. Jiří from 1872, but there is evidence of a medieval church on the site.
