Old Cabinet
Originally, the medieval village of Skřeneř stood on the site, of which only the courtyard remained. Before 1790, the neighboring Nová Skřeneř was founded, in 1835-54 the present village of Stará Skřeneř was built for agricultural workers near the yard. Despite its name, the municipality belongs to the youngest municipalities in Bohemia. In the village we can find a bell tower with a statue of St. Joseph from 1895 and the statue of St. Donata.
