The castle stands on a hill above the town of Lomnice in the South Moravian region. The castle is a large complex of buildings around two courtyards, the dominant feature is the two-story palace separating the two courtyards. A number of buildings have preserved Gothic and Renaissance architectural elements. A unique example of our late Gothic architecture is the chapel from the 15th century with rich stonework. Visitors can view the first courtyard.
