Church of St. František Serafínský is located right next to the Piarist monastery and castle. It was built on the site of the old fraternal church in the years 1590 - 1593 by the local lord Petr Vok from Rožmberk and his wife Kateřina from Ludanice. Petr Vok was a Catholic before his marriage to Kateřina, but the young lady apparently led him among the Czech brothers through her influence.
