Probably the most famous tree is "Much's linden" near Nové dvor. The unusual shape of the massive tree at the time was artistically depicted by the world-renowned painter Alfons Mucha in the painting "The Oath of Youth under the Slavic Linden Tree". The original 4 x 4,8 m canvas, which belongs to the collection of Slavic epics, is exhibited at the castle in Moravské Krumlov.
