Cross with Christ, Hranice, May 1st Class
The sandstone cross was erected at his own expense by local native and councilor Jan Frantík, master bricklayer around 1728. The cross with Christ has clover ends on the arms and at the foot of the cross is carved a skull with crossed bones, a symbol of death. The front of the plinth of the cross is decorated with a relief of the Virgin Mary of Sorrows. On the sides of the plinth are the figures of St. John the Baptist and St. Joseph.
