Border tree "Budkovnik"
When I saw it from afar in the strong wind behind the castle in the park on Náměstí 8.května, I thought that the colorful spots between its leaves were fluttering pentles and that the natives use the tree in May as an imitation of the classic may. A closer look, however, immediately eliminated this naive idea, and I stared in disbelief at the number of colorfully painted birdhouses hanging from its branches.
