Crooked Lake - National Nature Reserve
A preserved part of the floodplain with the natural character of a river bed. There are stands of soft and hard floodplain, floodplain meadows, periodic pools and the blind bed of the former Dyje stream. It is also an important breeding ground for birds. Thousands of bunches of summer sedge were transplanted here from the places flooded today by the Novomlýn reservoirs. Today, with more than 100 specimens, it is the most numerous locality of this species in the Czech Republic...
