Kozinec - ridge near Žamberek

This inconspicuous ridge located southwest of Žamberk has several local names - Kozinec, Kozince or Kozí hřbet. It is a narrow, forested rock ridge, formed by solid Permian deposits, mainly breccias. Like the land of the surrounding fields, it has a distinct red tinge. Its steep slopes are covered with mixed forests, beech trees prevail.
