Klokočov (Iron Mountains)
The first written report about the village of Klokočov, which lies on the ridge of the Iron Mountains above the valley of the Chrudimka River, dates from 1546. In Klokočov we find a memorial linden tree, said to be 1000 years old, the height of the linden tree trunk is 19 m and the circumference is 890 cm. Lípa was a finalist in the Tree of the Year poll in 2008. A red tourist sign passes through the village in the direction of the Seč dam - Dolní Bradlo and a yellow sign in the direction of Na Pilce - Chotěboř.…
