Kladruby is a medium-sized village in the Pošumaví region, approximately 5 km west of the better-known Katowice. The village is spread out on the southern slope of a small ridge, which extends in a SE - SW direction, south of the Otava River. Here, the ridge reaches its highest point with the peak of Divoš (537 masl), which is located less than a kilometer west above the village.
