Chapel of St. Our Lady of the Snows in Sněžné

The village of Sněžné can be found in the northern part of the foothills of the Eagle Mountains, not far from Olešnice in the Eagle Mountains. It was originally part of the Frymburk estate. In 1534, it became the property of Jan Trčka z Lípa, lord of Opočná. In his books of subjects and land holders, the first data about this village appear in 1537.
