The Neo-Gothic chapel, which was built at the end of the 19th century, is located in the village of Hamiltony, which was founded as a Dominican village under Bishop Maximilian Count Hamilton (1761-1776). The Hamiltons belonged to the Vyškov estate. The village was originally called Hamiltonky (1784) (today a local part of Vyškov in Moravia).
