The most famous and longest marked ridge path in Bohemia has been the so-called Blauer Kammweg or Blue Ridge, marked with a blue ridge in a white field, for more than a hundred years. In its heyday, it stretched from Blankenstein nad Sálou in Germany through the entire Ore Mountains, Czechoslovakia, Lusatia, Ještěd and Jizera Mountains, Krkonoše, Broumovsko, Orlické hory and Sněžník to Praděd.
