Giant Mountains
The Jizera Mountains are the northernmost Czech mountain range. Their eastern part extends into Poland and continues to the Krkonoše Mountains, in the west they are adjacent to the Lusatian Mountains. These mountains were named after the river Jizera, which originates here. The highest peak of the Czech part of the mountains is Smrk (1124 m).
