Jívová is a larger village with 550 inhabitants and can be found in the eastern direction from the town of Šternberk and on the western edge of the Údolí Bystřice nature park. There are extensive picturesque forests in the immediate vicinity of the village. To the west of the village, in the forest area, we can find the ruins of the Tepenec castle, here we can see the remains of the walls of residential buildings or parts of the defensive ramparts. To the southeast of Jívová is a protected natural area...
