Jeseník - monument to Vincenzo Priessnitz

The Smetana orchards at the foot of Zlaté Chlum in Jeseník have been decorated with a statue of Vincenc Priessnitz, the folk healer and founder of the local spa, for more than a hundred years. The decision to build the monument was made in 1899, ten years ahead of the 100th anniversary of the birth of V. Priessnitz. A competition and a public collection were announced for the monument.
