In their lower part, until the middle of the 19th century, there was a vast "no man's land", covered with rubble and overgrown with bushes and ruminous vegetation. But then Josef Raymann, a manufacturer and founder of an important textile company, took up the position of mayor of Frývald and he decided to establish a city park here. He had the debris taken away, the sprawling terrain leveled and planted with many exotic trees. That's how it was created...
