Jáchymov, church of St. Jáchym.

In the upper part of Náměstí Republiky there is one of the city's landmarks, the church of St. Jáchym. The first sanctuary was built between 1534 and 1540. The local builder H. Kopp was entrusted with the construction. In 1764, a new sacristy with a tomb was added. A fire in 1873 pretty much destroyed the church.
