Ivančice - Jewish cemetery
It is located about 400 m north of the square on a slope on Mřenkova Street. The Ivančický cemetery is one of the oldest in the Czech Republic after the Prague and Cologne ones (the oldest dated tombstone is dated 1552). The cemetery contains very valuable tombstones of the Renaissance, Baroque and Classicist types with remarkable symbolism related to the family, name, occupation and characteristics of the deceased.
