Ivančice - the house of the gentlemen from Lipa
Originally, a manor house stood here. In 1607, the building was rebuilt by Pertold VI. Godbud from Lipé, the highest hereditary marshal of the Czech Kingdom. The sophisticated sculptural decoration of the portal and corner bay window is apparently the work of Giorgio Gialdi, the building itself was built by Antonio di Valdi. In the 18th century, the house became the property of the city and in 1872 it was increased by another floor. It has served as the Town Hall since 1945.
