Boundary stones in Jihlava.

In Jihlava and its surroundings there are four border stones that represented the border between Bohemia and Moravia. They date from the mid-18th century and were built by order of Maria Theresa. They are four-sided pyramids on which are the heraldic symbols of Bohemia and Moravia. And these are the Czech lion and the Moravian eagle. They are also engraved with inscriptions: Limites Bohemiam inter et Moraviam - Maria Theresia Augusta regni Bohemia sceptra...
