Hradec Králové - Hučák dam on the Labe, Labská elektrárna

Together with the hydroelectric power plant, the Hučák dam is one of the most photogenic places in Hradec Králové. The construction of a dam with a hydroelectric power plant on the Elbe was carried out in Art Nouveau style, according to the project of architect František Sander, between 1908 and 1911. The power plant was equipped with three Francis turbines, which are still functional today. The bridge structure of the weir is still used by pedestrians and cyclists.
