The Moravian Bridge over Orlice in Hradec Králové
The construction of the fortified Moravian Bridge began in 1768 across the main branch of the Orlice River, which was moved closer to the city. A stone bridge with four spans with a width of 10,5 m and three pillars 3 m wide fully met the requirements of the time. The pillars had grooves into which the sluice gates could be lowered.
