Tolštejn Castle and its surroundings.

Our several-day trip to the Lusatian Mountains began at Tolštejn Castle. We chose it as the place from which we will start our journeys through this mountain range. It is customary to at least roughly describe its history. It was built to protect the Prague Road, sometime in the first half of the 13th century, and its builders were the Vartemberk family.
