During our stay in the Lusatian Mountains, we also visited some places in their foothills. One of them was the former mining town of Jiřetín pod Jedlova. The nearby pilgrimage site on Křížová hora undoubtedly belongs to it. The town was founded by Jiří Šlejnice from nearby Saxony between 1548 and 1553.
