Choustník Castle is inhabited by a diverse community of bats

The Gothic castle was founded by Beneš from Choustník after 1262. His descendants then used it together, creating a rare type of residence in Bohemia, the so-called ganerbenburg, with two separate castle cores and a palace. The castle has long been abandoned by a noble estate, but it is not an orphan. In addition to two-legged tourists, it is also sought after by winged visitors.
