Černovice Jewish Cemetery
The Jewish cemetery in Černovice was founded perhaps as early as 1600 and was subsequently expanded in 1680 and 1785. The cemetery contains a number of Baroque and Classicist tombstones. On an area of 1099 m², about 300 tombstones have been preserved to this day. The cemetery was repaired and in autumn 2001 a memorial to the victims of the Holocaust was unveiled here in an unusual form, according to the design of the sculptor Michael Deimle.
