Horusický pond
Horusický rybník can be found in South Bohemia, south of the town of Veselí nad Lužnicí and in the northern part of the Třeboňsko protected landscape area. This pond is the third largest pond in our country, right after Rožmberk and Bezdrev. The area of the Horusické pond is 415 hectares. The pond was founded between 1511 and 1512 on Bukovské stream.
