Vlkov sand pits

Vlkovské sand pits are located about one kilometer south of Veselí nad Lužnicí in the Tábor district. They are called Jezero Veselí, Vlkovská pískovna, Veselí I, Jezero Horusice and Jezero Horusice I. The sandpits have sandy shores and bottoms, the depth is variable up to 6 m. The shores of the sandpits are mostly lined with pine forests. You will find a water pedal rental and refreshments here. There is also an unofficial nudist beach at the Vlkovská sandpit.
