Hojsova Stráž was first mentioned in 1614. At that time it was a settlement where iron ore was mined. Locals had a problem with attending religious services during this period. They went to mass either in Bavaria or as far as Klatov. A little later, they could use the sanctuaries in Dešenice or Zelená Lhota. The construction of the own chapel took place between 1760 and 1761. The chapel was dedicated to the Virgin Mary of the Rose. Satisfaction…
