Pictures from Šumava – Hojsova Stráž and Šumava Observatory

On the outskirts of the village of Hojsova Stráž, you can see a very interesting thing, the Šumava Astronomical Clock. The most suitable time for his visit is HIGH NOON, when he strikes the first eight notes of our national anthem and after they die out, the skeleton rings the bell twelve times.
