Hodonín - city cemetery

The Hodonín city cemetery was established between 1898 and 1901. It is bounded by a high enclosure wall decorated on the front side with pseudo-Gothic pillars. In the middle of the front wall is a massive gate emphasized by pillars with violets. Like the wall it adjoins, it is built of red bricks with white grouting. Its monumentality is emphasized by the tympanum set in the middle of the gate above the arch. In the corners…
