Marian Plague Column in Hodonín

The Hodonín Marian Plague Column stands on Masaryk square near the parish church of St. Lawrence.
It was built in 1716 by the Brno sculptor Antonín Riga on the order of Princess Maria Antonia Lichtenstein, who during this period had a significant impact on the appearance of the city with a number of similar artistic commissions.
