Fulnek - church of St. Joseph

Church of St. Josefa is part of the baroque Capuchin monastery in Fulnek. It is located behind Husí potok on the hill opposite the castle. The founder of the monastery was Jan Bruntálský from Vrbno in 1668. The church was built in 1674, when the foundation stone was laid and consecrated in 1683. During fires in 1676 and 1695, it was extensively damaged. In 1950, the monastery was abolished and fell into disrepair, warehouses were placed, e.g. Romo Fulnek. From…
