Fuchs Villa
The abandoned villa belonged to the owner of local paper mills, Ignatz Fuchs. In 1867, he bought the old Asten paper mill, which ran into financial difficulties. He carried out extensive modernization and introduced the production of paper from cellulose instead of the old rags. During the First Republic, the paper mill became one of the largest businesses in the area, employing hundreds of workers.
