Fraternal Altar

The Fraternal Altar with Way of the Cross is located about 2 kilometers from Česká Kamenice. According to local legend, Catholics used to gather at the niches carved in the rock in the years 1515-1614, when the Protestant nobility controlled the manor here. After the battle on Bílá hora, the situation turned around and evangelicals gathered here. In the 19th century, it was a frequently visited place of pilgrimage. In 1887, rich decoration and sculptures were added.
