Chrudim - Birthplace of JN Štěpánek

The originally Gothic, renaissance rebuilt town house with a classicist facade is located in Štěpánková street leading to Resselovo náměstí. Jan Nepomuk Štěpánek (1783–1783), a playwright and one of the directors of Prague's Provisional Theatre, was born in the house in 1844. The commemorative plaque, cast in the Chrudim foundry by F.
