A memorial plaque to the citizens of Chrast of Jewish origin who were murdered in the Nazi extermination camps is located in the west wing of the castle in Chrast next to the entrance to the Town Hall. The record was made only thanks to the great efforts of Mr. Stanislav Machala, who collected information about the Hrastka victims of the Holocaust and raised funds for its implementation.
