České Budějovice - Zátkova villa

The functionalist villa was built for Miroslav Zátka in 1932 by the local company, the Petrášová brothers. The project was developed by the architects Josef Šlégl and Jaroslav Stránský. The two-story representative building has a complex interior height arrangement and resembles the Raumplan of Adolf Loos. The complexity of the arrangement is manifested by verticals on the facade and prominent cornices. The house is connected to the garden on several levels…
