České Budějovice – Heptic models in the monastery church

The demolished Dominican monastery in České Budějovice, together with the Church of the Sacrifice of the Virgin Mary, clearly belongs to the most beautiful monuments of the South Bohemian metropolis. Although the monastery itself was abolished during the Josephine reforms, it was fortunate that it did not become a warehouse or barracks.
Actually, for a long time it served God-loving purposes, for some time there was a Piarist college and until 1949 the Redemptorists were based here.…
