České Budějovice - Beseda
The building was built in the years 1868 - 1869 by the České Budějovice association Beseda. It soon became the center of the social, cultural and political life of the Czechs living here. Balls, entertainment, lectures were held in Beseda, and Czech associations met here. Since 1872, the Beseda garden housed the Sokol gymnasium.
