The modern house with Art Nouveau elements was built by the wholesaler Leopold Hájíček in 1911 and he operated his hardware store here. The building was designed by the Prague architect J. Šula and built by the local company Josef Pfeffermann. The building has a reinforced concrete structure, the facade is slightly forward, the interior is illuminated by large windows.
